Poured from a 32oz crowler into an angry chair glass.
Pours a cloudy maroon body with a big fizzy white head that reduces quickly leaving little retention.
Aromas of raspberry and blueberry purée, tart berries and lactic sourness maybe a bit of citrus.
Tastes like melted sherbet! The taste matches the label so I’ll give it points for that. Not getting a lot of pineapple but definitely the raspberry and some citrus in the background. Slightly grainy on the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is fantastic – light and refreshing as a Berliner should be.
This is a great representation of the style without the typical kettle soured diacetyl taste, very easy to drink and perfect for a hot day.
