“A kicked up version of Haze, Very Hazy is a beer that makes us Very Happy! Very Hazy conveys all the beautiful flavors of Haze, but with even greater depth and potency. Pungent grapefruit notes greet your palate while an underlying current of soft tropical fruit dances in the background. Just the right amount of bitterness balances the sweet fruit flavors while a velvety soft mouthfeel make you easily (and dangerously!) forget this one clocks in at 8.6% ABV. A huge and beautiful beer that maintains softness and delicacy – a beer we are very excited about!”

Poured from a 16oz can into a Treehouse snifter. Thank you Patrick for hooking me up with this, been seeking a can out for a while.
Pours a “very hazy” orange body, super turbid and cloudy just as the name suggests. Two finger white head rises and falls slowly to leave a layer of retention and spotty lacing.
Aromas are delicate but forward, lots of tropical fruit, grapefruit, mango, pineapple. Light alcohol shows up.
On the tongue are layers of tropical fruits and citrus, mango, papaya, soft orange creamsicle, very easy drinking for the ABV, smooth and creamy but full of taste, very light bitterness on the finish. Definitely an imperial version of haze, but it’s missing the unusual watermelon note I get in haze. Still very delicious. Medium body with light carbonation.
One of the best Treehouse IPAs I’ve ever had and definitely worth the hunt.
