Poured from a 750mL bottle into a Lawson’s tulip glass. Acquired in a trade. Most recent batch.
Pours a moderately hazy golden body with a big fluffy white head that sticks around for a while to leave some chunky lacing and retention. Looks nice.
Aromas are big and inviting with lots of floral hops, creamy citrus, piney, resinous dankness, grapefruit and rind. Maybe a hint of alcohol but not much at all.
Taste matches the nose with again, fresh floral hops, orange creamsicle, grapefruit, citrus rind, and a piney, lightly sappy aftertaste that leaves a hoppy bite on the tongue for half a minute. Carbonation is medium-low, body is creamy and rich, medium. Alcohol is very well hidden on the tongue, especially considering the 10.5% ABV.
Overall very solid and world class. I could drink this every day.
