Treehouse Double Shot with El Salvador Coffee Beans

Final Rating: 4.6/5
look: 4.75 | smell: 4.75 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.75 | overall: 4.5

Poured from a 750ml growler into a Treehouse tulip glass. Got it Oct 30 at the brewery.

Pours a deep black, opaque inky body with a big deep brown head that sticks around for a while to reduce to a layer of foam, leaving spotty lacing and good retention.

Wow.. The aroma is to die for, straight up freshly ground coffee beans.. Like walking into a coffee shop but better, some vanilla and chocolate there too.

Taste is similarly amazing.. Freshly ground coffee, toasty roasty malts, a light lingering bitterness, dark fruit, char, finishes with dark chocolate lingering on the tongue and cocoa powder. Mouthfeel is medium but rich with medium carbonation.

Another great variant of this world class coffee stout.. Honestly I think this series may be the best series of coffee stouts ever made.
